Please take a moment to review the attached link as its content is

alarming with regard to coastal communities, its residents and property owners.

Rather than find a way to help the citizens of this country, EPA has simply

provided a plan to abandon the coastline, its residents and coastal

communities. Back in March of 2013, DEP Commissioner Kimmell publicly

declared his plan of retreat on the channel 5 "Chronicle" segment covering

Plum Island and all the damage to the Massachusetts shore line. The attached

link is DEP Commissioner Kimmell 's game plan.

Sadly the oldest landmark on Plum Island is in danger, Bennett Hill built in

1890 and continuously owned by the Bennett family is facing imminent loss if

emergency measures are not taken immediately and without interference from

DEP and the state. To many visitors of Plum Island, Bennett Hill is the

welcoming beacon as we cross the bridge to go to the island. To lose this

national treasure is unacceptable and its loss will be squarely on the

shoulders of DEP and this Governor.
